Intours Egypt L.L.C is a local, licensed Egyptian tour operator. We collect your information only to operate the tour you have booked, to stay in touch with you before and during your trip, and to make sure everything runs smoothly. Once your trip is over, your personal data is permanently deleted.

Simple, honest, and transparent — here is exactly how we handle your data.

• We collect only what we need. Your name, phone number, email address, hotel name, and number of guests — nothing more. We need these details to pick you up, contact you, and run your tour.

• Used only for your tour. Your data is used exclusively to operate your tour — arranging pickup, sending confirmations, and staying in touch while you travel. Nothing else.

• Deleted after your trip. Within 90 days of your tour being completed, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems. We do not keep it.

Your Data Lifecycle

From booking to deletion — complete transparency.

1. You book a tour. You share your name, contact details, hotel, and number of guests so we can organise your experience.

2. We coordinate your tour. Our operations team uses your details to arrange pickup, pass on schedule changes, and keep everything running smoothly.

3. You enjoy your trip. During your tour we stay reachable on WhatsApp or by phone to handle any request or question.

4. Your data is deleted. Within 90 days of your trip ending, your personal information is permanently removed from our systems. Gone.

1. What Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Give Us When Booking

When you book a tour with Intours Egypt, we collect only the information required to operate it:

• Name — so your guide knows who to expect

• Phone number / WhatsApp — to coordinate pickup and stay in contact during the tour

• Email address — to send your booking confirmation

• Hotel name and room number — so your driver can collect you

• Number of guests (adults, children, infants) — to arrange the right vehicle and equipment

• Special requirements — dietary or accessibility needs, if you choose to share them

What we do NOT collect: We do not collect your passport number, national ID number, date of birth, credit card details on our servers, or social media profiles — nothing beyond what is needed to run your tour.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you browse our website, standard web technologies may collect:

• IP address and general location (country/city level)

• Browser type and device information

• The pages you visited on our site

• How you found us (search engine, social media, referral)

This is standard for all websites and helps us improve your browsing experience. It is anonymous and cannot identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal data is used for one purpose only: operating your tour. Specifically:

• Sending booking confirmations and tour details by email and SMS

• Arranging hotel pickup with our drivers

• Communicating schedule changes or other important updates

• Staying in touch on your tour day via WhatsApp or phone

• Handling any post-tour support or follow-up you request

What we do NOT do with your data:

• We do NOT send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in

• We do NOT sell your data to anyone — ever

• We do NOT share your data with advertisers or data brokers

• We do NOT build profiles or track your behaviour across the internet

• We do NOT use your data for any purpose other than your booked tour

3. Who Sees Your Information

Your information is shared only with the people who need it to run your tour:

• Your tour guide — receives your name, number of guests, and pickup location

• Your driver — receives your hotel name and pickup time

• Our operations team — coordinates everything and remains your point of contact

That is it. No marketing companies, no analytics firms, no data brokers — only the local team members directly involved in making your tour happen.

3.1 Payment Processing

If you pay online, your payment is handled by secure third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). We never store your credit card number or financial details on our servers; the provider handles them securely under its own privacy policy.

3.2 Legal Requirements

We may share information where Egyptian law requires it, and only in order to:

• Comply with a legal obligation

• Respond to a valid government request

• Protect the safety of our guests or staff

4. Data Retention & Deletion

90-day deletion policy: Your personal information is permanently deleted from our systems within 90 days of your tour being completed. This covers your name, contact details, hotel information, and communication records. We retain data for 90 days (not less) so we can support any post-trip need, refund, or follow-up you may have.

• You can request deletion at any time by contacting us

• Anonymous, aggregated data (for example, "X travellers visited Luxor this month") may be kept for business analytics — it cannot identify you

• If you have an active booking, we keep your data until the tour is completed, plus 90 days

• Reviews or content you voluntarily submit (such as testimonials) are stored separately, with your permission

5. How We Protect Your Data

While we hold your data (during booking and the tour), we protect it with:

• SSL/TLS encryption across our website (the padlock in your browser)

• Secure, encrypted communication channels

• Restricted access — only team members directly involved in your tour can see your details

• Secure payment processing through PCI-DSS compliant providers

• No storage of financial data on our servers

6. Your Rights

You are in full control of your personal information. You can:

• Access — ask us what data we hold about you

• Correct — update any information that is inaccurate

• Delete — request immediate deletion at any time

• Object — ask us to stop processing your data
